Week 33 25-29 Aug |
The National Social Security System (NSSS) will not come into effect as soon as people had expected. Still in the discussion stages, the NSSS is aimed at pulling all South Africans into the savings net. Looking at different models around the world, one question now being raised is, given South Africa’s highly sophisticated retirement savings environment, would there be an opt out clause for the savings component within the NSSS for those who are members of retirement funds administered by the private sector? Join David Williams as he talks to David Gluckman, Managing Director of Sanlam Umbrella Solutions. |

Is there a solution? Guest: Paul Myeza, MD of Sanlam Group Risk |
