Entry procedure & timelines

How to enter

• All A4 magazine or newspaper entries should be mounted on A3 boards; and all A3 entries should be mounted on A2 boards.
• Any electronic (internet) entries should be printed in colour to A4 size and mounted on A3 boards – no alternative formats will be accepted.
• All boards must be numbered in sequence should the entry fill more than one board.
• A maximum of 3 entries, per participant, per category will be allowed, and each entry must have its own entry form and be submitted separately.
• Please ensure that there are clear indications of dates on which the material was published / distributed between 1st July 2007 – 30th June 2008.
• Each entry must be accompanied by an entry form, pasted on the back of the board/s, and signed by the editor of the publication, to verify that the entrant is employed/was commissioned by the publication.
• Entry is free.

Should entrants wish to hand-deliver their entries, they should call Lindo Msomi on 011 778 6325 or 082 933 9715 to arrange for a specific drop-off time.

Closing date for entries is Monday 14 July 2008. Please note that no late entries will be considered for judging, and no entries will be returned.

Timelines

March 2008

• Launch to press: Sanlam SA Fashion Week Winter collections
• Editors to receive awards information

July 2008

• Closing date for entries: Monday 14th July
• Friday 25th July: Judging
• Week 28th July: notify finalists and editors -  press release

August 2008

• Winners announced at Sanlam media event. Event scheduled for last wee of August. Date to be confirmed.

September/October 2008

• Travel arrangements for winners attending an international fashion week or trade show for winter 2009/2010

By April 2009

• Winners attend an international fashion week or trade show for the winter 2009/2010 season.
