Prize money

The total prize money for the 2008 Sanlam Inter-university Creativity for Progress Competition amounts to a substantial R900 000. This is how the money will be split among the winners:

Inter-faculty winners: The winning student group per university as well as the winning faculty or university will receive R10 000 each.

Semi-finalists: The winning faculty will receive R50 000 and the winning student group will receive R30 000.

Finalist: The winning faculty will receive R150 000 and the winning student group will receive
R100 000.
