Glacier's managed solutions consist of a range of multi-managed investment options. The concept of multi-management is a response to the phenomenon that fund managers have different skills and excel in different areas. By providing exposure to either an optimal combination of funds, or to several fund managers in a single fund, multi-managed funds have the potential for returns that are consistent and above average.
The benefits of managed solutions
A risk-profiled managed solution offers the benefit of diversification across assets, sectors, regions, funds and fund managers, thereby significantly reducing potential investment risk. It also offers the convenience of a ready-made solution for investors who don't have the time or expertise to select and regularly review their investment.
Skilled professionals at Sanlam Multi-Manager International (SMMI) will manage your portfolio according to their investment mandate and benchmark. Both will be chosen to be consistent with your risk profile.
Your portfolio will be reviewed on a regular basis to ensure that it remains in line with your stated risk profile.

Collective investment funds are generally medium to long term investments. The value of units may go down as well up and past performance is not necessarily a guide to the future. Collective investment funds are traded at ruling prices and can engage in borrowing and scrip lending. Commission and incentives may be paid and if so, are included in the overall costs. A schedule of fees and charges and maximum commissions is available from the management company. Forward pricing is used.
The multi-managed funds are administered by Sanlam Collective Investments Ltd. Reg. No. 1967/002865/06; PO Box 30, Sanlamhof, 7532. Member of the ACI.
