African Life Assurance (Tanzania) Ltd again scooped the Best Presented Financial Statements award from the National Board of Accountants and Auditors Tanzania (NBAA) in 2013 holding second position. This makes it the fourth year in a row that African Life Assurance (Tanzania) Ltd has won the Best Presented Financial Statements award in the Insurance Category presented by NBAA. The last two years African Life Assurance (Tanzania) Ltd held no 1 position.
African Life was awarded the first prize by the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) under the insurance category. The awards geared to recognise, encourage and promote best practices in the preparation of financial statements in the country.
This becomes the third year in a row for African Life Assurance Tanzania to be awarded by the NBAA. In 2009 African Life won third place in the insurance industry category moving on to win the first position in 2010 and maintaining the same position in 2011.
