Muppets and maths were a winning team at the annual Every1 Counts tour featuring the Takalani Sesame crew. We set up the pop-up town of ‘Kwa-Sanlam’ at 28 Blue Ladder Schools across Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal, inviting school children to interact with the Muppets at their education stations and take part in maths games and activities.
It was our second year running this campaign with Takalani Sesame and we’re proud to have reached a total of 24 584 learners. We know that developing these skills in our children contributes to a better future for all South Africans, today and for generation to come.
