The Board has appointed her as an expert in the design, pricing, and valuation of insurance and retirement funding products.

Ndivhuwo is currently an Executive director, Board member and member of the following sub-committees: Risk and Compliance committee, Social and Ethics committee and Investment committee of the Federated Employers Mutual Assurance Company (RF) Proprietary Limited (FEM). She is a director and Chairman of FEM Education Foundation, Director of the FEM Trust Director of FEM Construction Industry Loan Fund and a member of the advisory board of the Compensation Fund.

Career

Ndivhuwo assumed her first professional role in 2002 as an actuarial assistant with her academic sponsor, Old Mutual, during her last year at UCT. Over her career she has gained diverse experience in actuarial concepts, employee benefits, retirement funding and investment strategies as a risk consultant, consulting actuary and more recently as CEO.

Ndivhuwo worked for Old Mutual for five years following which she took the decision to leave mainstream corporate life and spend time with family while doing independent employee benefits consulting. She also served as Managing Director of a greenfield business providing employee benefit consulting services.

In 2012, she joined Aon Hewitt as deputy CEO, and later became executive head of Aon Employee Benefits. She is currently the CEO of FEM.

Qualifications

Ndivhuwo holds a Bachelor of Business Science Degree (Actuarial Science) and a Post Graduate Diploma (Actuarial Science) from the University of Cape Town. She has a Diploma in Actuarial Techniques (FIA), a Certificate in Board Leadership (GIBS), a Certificate of Competence in Enterprise Risk Management (Alexander Forbes Risk Services) and is a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa.
