Jannie Rossouw is Programme Manager of the Consumer Financial Education (CFE) and Enterprise Supplier Development (ESD) Programmes in the Sanlam Foundation.

Jannie’s more than 30 years in the financial services industry includes 21 years’ focused experience providing meaningful advisory input for the growth and development of successful SME and owner-managed businesses. He combines his strong academic foundation with honed expertise in strategic and financial planning, value chain development/improvement, and operational efficiency improvements, to provide holistic business mentorship, training and personal coaching to hundreds of business owners each year.

With a deep understanding of the fundamentals that drive business success, he has demonstrated an acute understanding of business dynamics, helping business owners to achieve business continuity, revenue growth, and wealth creation under even the most challenging circumstances. He has deep domain knowledge and is highly skilled in programme/project managing Enterprise Supplier Development and Consumer Financial Education initiatives to enable businesses to achieve their Corporate Social Investment (CSI) goals.

Notable achievements

Jannie successfully developed a niche business division in the financial services sector, specialising in the SME sector. He played an instrumental role as keynote speaker in the annual Business Expo of the National Small Business Chamber (NSBC) in 2017, 2018 and 2019, speaking about numerous business and financial planning related topics.

Jannie co-created the Financial Fitness Analysis instrument, uniquely designed for the financial services sector, and has mentored many business owners to effectively develop an action plan for their businesses. He holds a BCom and Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
