He is an independent non-executive director of MTN.
A Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, Mr Hanratty obtained his bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Sciences (BBusSc Hons) from the University of Cape Town. He began his career in the insurance industry and has worked in various financial services businesses in Africa, the UK and several other markets.
